I grew up in a home where antiques and all things vintage were greatly appreciated as my father was an avid collector. As an adult, I began selling in antique malls in the mid-nineties and then on Ebay in 2001. (I have a 100% positive feedback rating at Ebay under the name of bivzbabe, so be sure to check that out.) After having sold a variety of vintage items, I have recently decided to move solely into the Vintage Jewelry business. To me, the pursuit of Vintage & Antique Jewelry is akin to treasure hunting - I cannot seem to get enough of it and consequently, I have amassed quite a large collection, the bulk of which I now offer up to you!

BEWARE: Some pieces are so stunning you will be compelled to shop for outfits with which to wear them!!!

I strive to offer accurate descriptions, noting flaws if any, and take photos from different angles so you may better see what you are buying. It is particularly challenging to capture the true essence of rhinestones. I have literally taken a hunded photos of some and still don't get the shot I want! I am not a professional photographer, but do the best I can! (I always use a quarter for size reference.) Simply email me if ever you need more photos and I will be happy to oblige!

Please keep in mind that the vast majority of Vintage jewelry will inevitably have some wear due to its age and this is acceptable and to be expected, unless, of course, it is mint in the box. I enlarge all my photos which is akin to placing the jewelry under a magnifying glass and most flaws will not even be seen when worn. Often I do not even notice an imperfection until I happen upon it in a photo!

You may want to visit my WEARABLE WOUNDED category for jewelry that has flaws such as a missing stone or two or minor finish issues, etc. The pieces are still wearable as the title suggests and are priced according to their condition. If you are one who repairs jewelry, then you will love this section! Most only need a little TLC to restore them to their former glory. Please note that these items are sold as is and non-returnable and all condition issues are thoroughly described.

Also please note that I will use the words "faux", "rhinestone", "cubic zirconia", "cz", or "simulated" when referring to any non-gemstone. If one or more of these adjectives is not present in the description, then the stone is genuine. I may use "silver" or "gold" to describe color, but if the metal is composed of an ore I will say so. In addition, all measurements are approximate, particularly with the rings. I have a ring stick hat I use for sizing, but even those are not perfect. If a ring should not fit, simply return it and I will gladly refund your cost!

You will find Vintage as well as Contemporary Jewelry here. I agree whole heartedly with the assessment of the Mistress at Vintage Costume Jewelry: "The term "vintage" is often misunderstood by dealers and collectors. When dealing with vintage costume jewelry, the term usually applies to an item that is 20+ years old. Many experts agree that the term "antique" can be applied to vintage costume jewelry that is 50+ years old. This may be for two reasons. For one, the field of collecting costume jewelry is fairly new. Secondly, costume jewelry does not tend to last as long as other antiques might due to moisture damage, vigorous use, and quality of construction or materials used."

Please know that 99.9% of my jewelry is used and much of it will need to be cleaned, particularly the old pieces. I do not clean the jewelry because many buyers prefer to do this themselves.
I will describe and try to photo document any wear so you will know exactly what you are buying. The success of my business relies on my integrity. Also, when you compare my prices to other Vintage Jewelry sites, you will find mine to be most reasonable. I believe you will be so satisfied that you will recommend this site to others and will be assured you may buy with confidence again and again!
